Advantages: nice looking, well fitted, easy to look after Disadvantages: still leak, may cause a nappy rush
...the baby look very cute!
3) EASY TO LOOK AFTER. If you follow instruction (which comes with nappies) it should be no problem with using them. We pre-soak them in a bucket with a vinegar (get malted one - smell nicer!). The bucket was in the baby room. It had a lead. We had no smell. But you should not leave it for long especially if some nappies have a trace of poo.
In our case I use to wash every other day. Used approximately 5-8 nappies daily and I always had a spare nappy or two. We can tumble dry Koo shies. They will be even softer.
WHAT BAD about Kooshies ?
1) LEAKAGE. They are fine while your baby is little and does everything in small quantity. When by baby was 2 month old I found more leaky nappies every day. The booster pad helped but it also made a nappy very bulky between baby legs. I believe it restricted my baby movement while...

...Terry nappies are enviromentaly friendly and cheaper than huggies or any other brand. When i was pregnant with my twin girls i made the choice to use terry nappies, i bought one dozen to start with which cost me £10.99, which is as much as one pack of disposable nappies, a nappybucket (with a lid), some sterilising liquid nappy pins nappy liners and some waterproof pants, this all came to less than £20.00. At first it was a bit of a big job but as the girls got older i found it got much easier and the girls hardly ever got any nappy rash. When the girls got to potty training age i found it very easy to make the transition from nappies to knickers i think this was added by the fact that the girls wore terry nappies, as when they were 18+ months old they came to me asking for thier nappy changing as they could feel the wet against thier...

Advantages: Make you feel very environmentally friendly Disadvantages: They leak if not changed regularly
...nappies using the 'Oriental fold' in which a triangle was very small, and it had extra layers down the centre to really soak up the wee.
My reasoning:
When my first daughter was born, in 1980, I bought some specially shaped nappies which were already triangular and so they could just wrap around her. Unfortunately, she was born with dislocated hips, and so these were no good as she had to wear double nappies to hold her hips in place. So, off I went to Mothercare and bought 2 dozen terry nappies and used them for the next two years. A small outlay for 2 years wear!
To use Terry Nappies,
You generally need a bucket for storing the day's soiled nap's and some 'active oxygen' bleaching powder. Vanish do a version of this now which could be used by today's parents if Mothercare no longer make Napisan type products. This is generally very...

I love James Patterson - and this novel highlights why. Having worked through the whole Alex Cross series I wondered whether he could really hit it off with a new character, a new set-up, a new style. I need not have worried. Lyndsay Boxer, the new... more
