A good users guide

Advantages: Can work at own pace
Disadvantages: Not all aspects are covered

I recently purchased this self-training package from the Register (delivered within 3 days as versus 6 weeks from Amazon) for £34 and found it a useful starter guide to Sage. It is a combination of workbooks and CD Rom. The CD Rom gives you 90 days of a training version of Sage accounts and comes preloaded with data for you to practise with. For those who are not familiar with Sage, it is a basic book keeping package for small business owners in particular. It has a number of modules which allow you to track transactions (sales), payments and banking details. It also allows you to track VAT and calculate VAT payments. Some Sage Advice

Advantages: -

There is an in joke in the medical community that if you consult enough alternative manuals on the uses of Sage you will find that it is the cure for all known diseases. Sage is no cure all but does have a wide range of uses. In the garden theSage is a perennial evergreen shrub that reaches to about 3 feet and produces flowers of pink, white, blue or purple. Good drainage and plenty ...

Grow Sage. It's Lovely!

Advantages: Attractive plant, choice of colours, tastes and smells nice.
Disadvantages: Can get untidy if neglected

a knee replacement. I see that now you can buy a ready made pad from chemists, that does much the same thing and must certainly be less messy than using my mixture. Of course I think my remedy works much better. After steeping red sage leaves in olive oil in the sun for three weeks and adding the correct quantities of cayenne, mustard, ginger, pepper and other herbal goodies, I then have a beautiful, deep red coloured oil. Made into ointment with the addition of beeswax and a bit of hocus pocus under a full moon, I have a thick, orange ointment ready to apply to the painful joint. This heats up on your skin and feels great for about two hours. I've had some spectacular results with this but I haven't given the exact ingredients or quantities in case you make your own and sue me if you have any ill effects from it. You'll all have to ...
