Installing this is dead easy provided ...
...tad confusing to say the least, all you have to do is fix the scart lead in the appropriate slots attach the ariel to the box and the back of your telly, then switch it on. The box will automatically tune into the available channels and you are ready for 30 channels of utter tripe.

Installing this is dead easy provided that you completely ignore the instruction manual which is a tad confusing to say the least, all you have to do is fix the scart lead in the appropriate slots attach the ariel to the box and the back of your telly, then switch it on. The box will automatically tune into the available channels and you are ready for 30 channels of utter tripe.

The remote control is initially confusing and you need the addendum supplied to familiarise yourself with it, this takes about half an hour of flicking and ranting about how bad the telly is and how it will destroy humankind as we know it. The other gripe is the volume control it is either ridiculously loud or ridiculously quiet and you do need to use this in combination with your TV volume controls. There is also a variation in volume from channel to channel which is downright annoying.

There is a vast array of freeview boxes available and I bought this as it was the cheapest one that was compatible with top up TV. It also does its job with the minimum of fuss and is easy to use once you get the hang of it.
