I was agreeably surprised by the way the Sainsbury's products coped with baked on "stuff" even on a lower temperature setting. My stainless steel pans came up very "polished" which was a bonus, as I used to buff them to a shine. No problem, no streaky marks. Great !
The only thing I did find was the glasses were not quite so sparkling clean as I was used to.
Some own brands don't smell very nice, but I have no complaints on this score. The dishwasher remained sweet smelling until the next use.
I decided on balance, with the lower price and the cleanliness of the hard to clean items, I could put up with polishing the glasses. A fair trade off for saving money.
