I drink a lot of apple juice. Probably close to a litre a day, and I've tried many different versions. Obviously the cloudy refridgerated versions are the best, but not practical in terms of expense when you drink as much as I do. So, I generally just buy bulk-loads of the supermarket own brand long-life juice. Unless I'm shopping at Sainsburys. Their standard long-life apple juice looks just like everyone elses - a clear brown liquid. Unfortunatly it tastes bitter, and has a deeply unpleasant chemical aftertaste. In fact, it was so unpleasant that I opened another carton, thinking the first had gone off, but no, it would appear that's how it's meant to taste. Sorry Sainburys, thumbs down to your apple juice.
