Sainsbury Basics All Purpose Cleaner

I love to save money wherever possible and in my household I'm normally responsible for purchasing the cleaning products. This means I can try out new things whenever I spot them and I've recently moved near Sainsburys so began to shop from there a lot more often.

This 'Basics' All Purpose Cleaner is available for just 40p for a 750ml bottle which I believe is fantastic value for money. It comes provided in a basic plastic bottle with a screw top lid (not childproof unfortunately) and the bottle has a small handle making it easier to carry home or around the house.

To use this liquid you can either use it neat or mix it a couple of capfuls with 5 litres of water to clean floors with (just like you would more expensive floor cleaner). I sometimes use this neat on a sponge to directly scrub cupboards or the floor and when my Mum moved recently I used this neat to scrub her kitchen cupboards clean and it worked a charm and I only just around 1/8 of a bottle doing the entire kitchen and all the floors in her new flat.

There is no overpowering scent with this cleaner but it does have a clean scent to it that's quite difficult to exactly put my finger on. It just smells clean really and isn't too strong. People would be able to tell that you've recently cleaned and I don't think they would guess that a cheap product was used.

This liquid is incredibly versatile and for just 40p it's amazing how many areas of the house I've used it in now. I use this often for cleaning a staineless steel kitchen sink and only the tiniest amount is required to get gleaming results.

As with all cleaning products I would recommend that you test this on a very small area first and somewhere inconspicuous.
