    Advantages Advantages Low price, good flavour, smells nice

    I have a weakness for cheese sandwiches, especially those with pickle or chutney in. This means I get through a lot of jars, and when I run out of what I have made myself, it can be quite expensive to keep up with my habit! When I saw that Sainsbury's stock an own label sweet pickle for just 25p I thought it was worth trying. It is part of their cheapest Basics range, and the packaging reflects that. The pickle comes in a glass jar with a simple orange and white label. This doesn't bother me, but it wouldn't look pretty if you wanted it out on display when you have guests for lunch or a picnic ... more
