Recently I have been trying to make a few cut backs and one thing I do get through a lot of and buy weekly is washing up liquid. Sainsbury's is a store I don't frequent very often but my friend does like so the other day whilst we were out and about we nipped in so she could grab a few essentials and whilst she was doing so I decided to have a mooch about and see what bargains I could grab.

This one of a few 'Basic' products that I decided to try as it only cost me 40p for a large enough 500ml of it which I thought had to be worth a go.

Like all the Sainsbury's Basics product this comes in white and orange packaging and this comes in a squeezy bottle with a red flip top lid to the top of it. On the front of it we are told of course what it is and who it is by and then on the back things like ingredients, size and contact details for Sainsburys are given. There is no bones about it this does look an economy product but to be fair to it it is!

The Washing Up liquid Itself:

Well the liquid itself is dark green and rather runny with an ok smell to it if not a little chemically. I needed quite a lot of it to get any foam going in my water and said water did feel a little greasy however I perservered. This was okish on very lightly dirty washing up I.E cutlery and plates not long after being used, on tougher more baked on foods it was useless even if things were left to soak a bit. I found this to make my glasswear go smeared even though I really rinsed stuff off and in fact I only used this once or twice before passing it on to my best mate to try.

.

Only available from Sainsburys and from Sainsburys.com

Review summary

for the review "A poor economy product!"
For me this is too much of a money saving option and one that makes my cleaning a damn sight harder and so for that reason I wouldn't waste any money on this terrible product again sadly.
