The Sainsbury's Economy Toothbrush comes in aq pack of 2 for 39p. They're extrodinarily good value, but are they worth the cost?

APPEARANCE:
The toothbrushes are white. On viewing, you can tell they must be cheap ones. The plastic extends the whole way up, not changing in appearance once, and the white bristles are coarse and stiff.

DURABILITY:
For me, this toothbrush is perfect, as I use it very rarely - no, I do brush regularly, but I normally use an electric toothbrush. I use this one when I go visiting places, or to someone elses house, so I don't need the charger.
The brush does have its downsides - the body is unbendable, so if you're used to pressing on hard, it may damage your gums.
To start with, the bristles work very effectively, probably better than a more exensive one, as they're firm and can dislodge food easily. They do however wear down easily, and spread out much quicker than a normal toothbrush. That's alright if you, like me only use it now and again, but if this was to be your main brush, it may prove more costly than a more expensive one.

PACKAGING:
A clear plastic front is attached to a white cardboard backing, with the heading 'Sainsbury's ECONOMY'
'Medium Texture' is then written below. This is the only one in the range, and is a little deceptive, because it starts off much stronger than medium, and ends up much weaker!

The back of the packet is again titles 'Sainsbury's ECONOMY'.
Text goes as follows:
2 TOOTHBRUSHES
Medium Texture
-Brush your teeth thoroughly at least twice a day
-Children should be supervised whn brushing their teeth
-Dentists recommend that toothbrushes should be replaced every three months
-Visit your dintist every 6 months

I would not recommend this toothbrush for anyone just wanting a cheap toothbrush for full time, as I think you would be better off buying an expensive one which will last longer. If you are like me though, I would suggest it could be used for holidays, business trips, etc.

At 39p for two, I don't suppose you can go far wrong!
