Sainsbury's own brand box of 40 naturally caffeine free teabags. Flavour: A reviving blend of Rosehip and Hibiscus. Also are Free From Genetically Modified Ingredients!

COST: £1.49 for a box of 40
PLACE OF PURCHASE: Sainsbury's
WEIGHT: 120g
QUANTITY: 40

These are currently on special at Sainbury's along with the other flavours of Saninburys 40 boxes of tea bags.

Ingredients: Rosehip Shells (55%), Hibiscus Flowers (45%).

Packaging:
White box with red Rosehips and green rosehip plant leaves all over. Box opens with a tab across the middle and comes sealed with a clear plastic cover which you have to peel or use scissors to remove. There a red box on the front with the title 'Rosehip Teabags' written in black.

Appearance:
I think I may have over brewed mine, it says 2-4 minutes which it think was about 3 maybe and the colour is a deep redy almost brown colour. However this colour lightened and became more reddy pink when i poured some out and weakened with some good old fashioned tap water.

Aroma:
A sort of warm woody smell to a freshly brewed cup.

Taste:
If overbrewed as I fear I might have, then the flavour is quite pungent and bitter. However the taste did mild down a bit when I added some cold water from the tap. The taste is still quite powdery and is very similar to cranberry in flavour and also in chalky aftertaste.

I know this stuff is supposed to be fantastic for your skin, great for being low in caloiries and also a good method of stress relief but it really doesnt taste all that nice. I feel a bit like when you have to forcefully gulp down lemsip because you know it's good for you and you'll only feel worse if you don't swallow the rancid stuff.

Enjoying a cup of tea is supposed to be exactly that, enjoying it. So as a tea I dont recommend it and shall be reviewing with a poor star rating. If however you're into that 'no pain no gain' state of mind as regards diets then this might be right up your alley as are on special at the moment 2 for £2. Which is much cheaper than some of herbal bags you can get from back alley hippy health shops.

Overall 3 star rating, although are on special, still wouldnt recommend trying unless you are fond of sharp warm drinks. Not really my cup of tea, and if you prefer sweeter teas like myself I can recommend the strawberry or vanillia Sainsburys tea.
Thanks for reading, take care, best wishes, mintz x x x
