Baking paper or greaseproof paper has been on the market for donkeys years and I always keep a roll in stock. When I used to make jams and chutneys I used to use little circles of the non stick paper to top off the jars. Nowadays I use baking paper for lining cake tins, wrapping food and making piping bags. Occasionally I get the urge to make a steamed pudding and a layer of greaseproof goes over the pudding basin.
