Advantages Handy and well made

Disadvantages If I drop them

I used to have a lovely little pack of wooden cocktail sticks which I bought from Sainsbury’s quite a long time ago. I have searched for these lately but I have no idea where they have gone or where I have put them. I bought these about two years ago and there were 150 lovely sized neat looking wooden cocktail sticks in the plastic container The container was see through –opaque on the top part so I could see the sticks inside and it was red plastic on the bottom part. The bottom part was where I put the sticks and then I used to have a right bother to get the see through top on because all the little sticks would fly out at odd angles, and this used to aggravate me.

These cocktail sticks were a very good quality and I only paid about 99p for them if I remember rightly. I last used them when I was making models with my granddaughter when she came to my house but I have also used them for their proper purpose which is for food.

Each stick was the standard size of a cocktail stick and measured about three inches in length, I would think. The wood was a nice quality and it didn’t splinter too easily like the ones I used to get from Lidl. I also used these at my daughter’s 40th birthday party, which wasn’t a surprise party, and I used them for the cheese and pineapple, and the pickled onion and the hot dog bits we had and I presented them in an attractive way on the plates. They looked lovely and the sticks came in very useful for this. The only problem I have had with these sticks is when I have dropped them all over the floor and then it takes me ages to pick them all up and put them back, it’s very fiddly when this happens.

I last used them for modelling with my granddaughter but now I cannot find where I have put them but they were only cheap so I will buy some more They do come in handy and they are very well made I find and I recommend them to you.
