Intro. ****** A recent change has come about in my shopping habits, so spurring me to write this review about that weekly drudge all of us find ourselves having to do. For me this is every 2 weeks, so any spare cash I thought I had is blasted on this nightmare task…Shopping… (Shudder!!) The...

Pro£9.99 chart albums

Contranone

If you are looking to buy the latest chart albums, i would recommend you take a look at your local Sainsburys. They sell all the latest chart albums for £9.99 with double albums retailing from £12.99, saving you pounds on other high street retailers. You can also use your reward points card to...

This is solely about Sainsbury's as a music retailer (note the category), so please dont read and rate if you are expecting soemthing about food. THE CONVENIENCE: The first thing to be said about this store is the convenience. The music is right there when you go shopping, you can grab it with...

Contraprices are higher

One of the things that is annoying about living in this Suffolk town is the lack of shopping facilities. Yes we have the obligatory woman’s fashion shop and we can even push to a Burtons and Woolworths. But when it comes to food shopping the town severely lacks (along with health care, leisure...

ProVery Fast and Vast number of titles to choose from

ContraNone

I recently heard about the Sainsbury's DVD rental offer and I signed up for the Free Trial of 30 days. They have more than 24000 titles to choose from. I had already tried several other DVD rentals by now and did not feel writing a review of any of them until I took up this Sainsbury's DVD Rental...

Proc.d's are cheapy cheapy cheap!!

Contranot a very wide selection, just chart c.d's

I think it's time to bring up the point that sainsburys are unbeatable(in my opinion) for value on chart c.d's, single c.d's at £9.99 and double c.d's at £12.99. Some other etailers run offers where you can buy 2 for £22.00, but even that doesnt match their prices, and sainsburys are not running...

ProCheaper than the High street stores

ContraOnly do chart albums

Sainsbury's, your local supermarket. But let me congratulate them on their attempts to challenge the High Street Music retailers with their price policy. CD albums (single) at £9.99 and Doubles at £12.99. This is the way ahead. Whilst HMV and others would gratefully accept your £14 I would rather...

I haven't bought a CD from a high street retailer such as this for a long time. Why? The prices. Sainsburys are excellent for chart CD's. As an example, HMV (Virgin, OurPrice, Andy's Records - all of them) regularly charge £13.99 for a single chart CD and £15.99 for double albums. Older single...

Contraonly sell chart albums

If you are looking to buy popular chart albums, such as ones in the latest top 40 and 50, then Sainsbury's is definitely one of the best places to go. personally I think that it is the cheapest place I have seen for CDs such as these. All single CD albums here are £9.99, a saving of £3 or £4 on...

Procheapest around

Contrachoice

If you want a cd in the top 40 and you want it cheaper than the main sellers such as HMV or Virgin then sainsburys is your place. the current price for a single disc product is £9.77 so its cheaper than the high street and its exactly the same product. the downfall is choice. They generally only...

I have to say that i love the prices of albums at sainsburys. Every week i do my shopping there but only just lately i have noticed the prices of thier cd's. Single cd's are about £3.00 cheaper than the other high street stores and double albums are £4.00 cheaper, plus you get the chance to use...

Since becoming a student, I realised I wouldn't be able to afford to go my weekly shopping as Waitrose anymore (where my mum shops at home) and the nearest supermarket was Sainsbury's.
