This is a USB 2.0 compliant analogue game controller with three axis. Two pedals are linked together (rudder / Z axis), and each pedal has toe action (differential brakes for example). Its destined audience are flight simmers. It could be used for other games too, but results may vary.

I use it on carpet, and it stays where I put. Should you still need more grip, it is shipped with self-adhesive Velcro straps you can use if you want. Two extra pads can be attached to either the front or back of the chassis for more stability (included).

Just received the item, so I only have short-term experience. It is made of plastic, only essential parts are made of steel. It feels pretty decent though. It is about the right size, the space between pedals are just right. The length of the pedals is adjustable in three steps, with a push of a button.
I use it on carpet, and it stays where I put. Should you still need more grip, it is shipped with self-adhesive Velcro straps you can use if you want. Two extra pads can be attached to either the front or back of the chassis for more stability (included).
The USB cable is a bit short, about 4 feet long, so you might need an extension cable.
I did not need any additional software/driver to install it on Windows XP, just plugged in to an available USB port, XP recognized as game controller, configured MS Flight Simulator to utilize it, and I went for a check-ride right away. It comes with a driver/utility disk, which I did not use, so have no experience with.
Now here comes the not-so-good part. First, it does not have adjustable tension. Do not be fooled. It is adjustable damping. This I realized when I pulled the controller apart to fix another annoying issue described below. The tension is just right anyway, so its not a real problem, just isn't adjustable is all.
The rudder pedals have a 'click-in-center-position' functionality. This way you can absolutely 100% be sure that the rudder is centered. However, this also means you have to apply extra force to move from center position. As a result, it has an accurate center position, and you cannot control precisely around center. This annoyed me big time, since I like sensitive controls without dead zone.
Most people do not feel this way, at least this is the only reason I can think of why they did not mention it in their reviews, and that is why it was a surprise for me. As it turned out, I could remove this functionality in about an hour, but I lost warranty. The procedure is not destructive and can be reversed, still, its a disappointment that I had to pull apart a brand new thing.
After removing the 'center click', the action is very smooth, precise, and still has a great 'center feel'. It takes a lot of practice to master the rudder and differential brakes, but is also a refreshing experience.
Besides being very comfortable, it provides me with opportunities I did not have before. The differential brakes will change the way you make your turns on taxiways, or keep your aircraft on the runway in strong crosswind. The old twist (Z) axis on your joystick, which is now available, can be used for other purposes like looking left-right in virtual cockpit, and the list goes on. Did I care to mention how much more precise the rudder pedals are than the joystick?
I give it 3 stars only because I had to 'fix' it for my needs, other than that, its great! you serious simmers, go for a rudder pedal, its as real as it gets!
