I'm a mum of 2 and although I no longer have regular work I do manage to do a bit of supply teaching to keep my skills up to date! I live in the sunny south where I grew up, close to my family and friends.

Overview
I bought this travel cot for my daughter after borrowing a friends smaller version and marvelling at the smallness. We travel around the country visiting friends and going on holiday a fair amount but our standard travel cot is very large and bulky. I wanted something that would take up less room in the car but also something that was practical. This fitted the bill completely. It folds to a surprising 30 x 60 x 18cm yet is big enough to take an 18 month old child. In fact my son was 2 when I bought it and he could still have slept in it! Its just like the pop up tents that you get, but with rods to hold its shape and a fold up mattress for the bottom. I've used it many times and never had a problem. I thought that perhaps once my daughter started rolling or walking it would be hard but its comfy so she just goes to sleep. It has a build inmosquito net which can zip up from either side. I think the only problem that I found was that the mattress isn't that thick so if it is on a cold floor you really need a towel/blanket underneath. Also there are no sheets and because the mattress attaches to the pop up tent part with Velcro there is no way of tucking a sheet in. Fortunately I have a mum who is handy with the sewing machine and she's made me 2 sheets that fit it. I have since found you can buy sheets but these are hard to come by and expensive.
Packaging / contents/ availability
I found this in my local Boots for £50 but they are also widely available online and some good deals on ebay. It came is a box and inside was the travel bag which has the folded mattress, the rods and the pop up bubble.
Advantages Light, small and easily assembled Easy to store away when not in use Comfy enough for holidays/casual use
Disadvantages Thin mattress Expensive
Overall This was an expensive purchase but I know that when I no longer need it I will be able to resell via ebay so probably not so bad. I don't regret it though as we've been on holiday several times where they was no way to get a cot and this has proved very handy indeed. We even used it when my son was in hospital and we were given a family room but there were no cots (my daughter was only a couple of weeks old so I had to take her too as I was feeding). Worth checking out second hand as most people wouldn't use them loads.
