Instead of requiring multiple steps to select copy options, pressing the 'Favorite Copy' button requires only one step to complete the assigned special copy. As fast as it gets. SCX-4725FN sends a fax document directly from your PC through SmarThru software. You can just sit and watch everything being done.

The printer utility software is good and pretty straightforward.
the best thing was the price. I got mine from ebuyer for £540 but samsung laser printers come with cashback at the moment and if you take off the £150 cashback I recieved within 1 week of delivery then I paid £390 for a multifunction printer which costs £745 at most retailers.
the registration process is quick and painless but the extended warranty price is quite high.
All in all a very good machine at a great price...

The feeder tray holds 250 A4 size paper and there is an indicator to let you know how much paper left, and it bleeps when empty. The top feeder tray, for faxing or copying holds upto 50 sheets of paper.
There is an lcd display to let you know what the machine is doing eg copying, receiving a fax etc.
There is PC connection - Parallel, hi-speed USB or ethernet.
It also has a direct usb connectivity where you can do direct scan-to usb memory or direct printing from usb memory.
When the machine has been used there is a slight 'humming' noise but then it goes to 'sleep' so then there is no noise.
The ink cartridges are available in 3K or 5K, mine is used everyday and a 5K lasts me 2 months. You can buy from Samsung or there are others out there who can provide them (as yet I...

The printer itself is a diversified laser B / W, the ability of the comprehensive enough. However, this printer can be used only to print, to copy and scanning. One capability that is less fax function. Perfomance of the printer is quite reliable.... more
