Advantages: Good Image Quality, Price
Disadvantages: Bundled Software buggy

...The monitor provides a very clear and crisp picture and had no dead pixels. At this price I also found it to be excellent value. It was very easy to install as it needs only to be plugged in and it will work fine. Some of the settings on the monitor should be adjusted to fit with the enviroments i.e. Brightness and Colour. The bundled software (MagicTune and MagicColour) do however have a few compatability issues and are not really necessary. The monitor is aesthetically pleasing and is similar in design to Samsung's "Pebble" TV's. I have yet to experience any real problems with this monitor after using it for 6 months fairly constantly and it displays just as vividly as it did just out of the box.... Read review

Advantages: lightness, speed and quiteness
Disadvantages: lack of free software

...I bought my daughter this machine, and was so impressed I went out and bought myself one. Apart from its' stylish good looks it was the quality of the screen image that pleased me.( I understand Samsung are the worlds largest manufacturers of TFTs) These advantages are in addition to its' portability, processor speed,and the actual quiet running noise. I used to do a lot of work at night in the bedroom where my desktop was based and my partner would complain about the noise. With this Samsung I can actually sit up in bed and use it as its quiet keyboard and very rare occurence of fan noise is like a whisper. If I could find a fault it would not be the machine itself, it would be the very limited amount of software suplied (e.g. 3 months of anti-virus ), but this could be down to the actual store where purchased from.
