    Advantages Advantages Marked improvement on sound and picture quality, easy to set up, easy to use

    Disadvantages Disadvantages Only plays Region B Blu-ray and Region 2 DVD, no HDMI lead included in the box

    My husband was a huge fan of new technology and had wanted to embrace HD TV quite early on, however a combination of late delivery of our HD ready TV and Sky being short of HD boxes when HD launched meant we never quite got round to it. He had dragged me into stores to show me how amazing HD pictures were but I never really "got" it - to me it was nothing like the improvement in picture quality you got when switching from analogue to digital TV - so I didn't really bother with it.     This was a replacement player that i received after ny BP-1500 failed and stopped playing discs. If you buy a Samsung product make sure you keep your receipt as the only way to get service under warranty is to provide the original receipt, if you have not got it, then they will not process the claim. You have been warned. The whole process took nearly 5 weeks from taking the player in to get the replacement. Lets hope this ones lasts more than 7 months!!!
