DO NOT BUY THIS PIECE OF CRAP!!! My advice would be if you have or been given one for Xmas - take it the hell back and get a refund or exchange it for a NON Samsung DVD recorder. Samsung should be prosecuted for selling what is obviously a faulty machine! Plenty of reviews online ALL saying the same thing - it will NOT accept DVD-RW. So, not fit for purpose. Samsung will probably blame the consumer, as always. Well, FOUR brands of HIGH QUALITY BRAND NAMES, cleaning the lensas suggested on some sites DOES NOT WORK! Seriously, you will regret the day you bought one of these pieces of crap! I've spent more money on finding out WHICH brand plays - as the manual is utterly useless when it says 'some brands may not work' but DOESN'T tell you which do! HELLO, are there ANY people with brain cells employed at this company???! No, poor ...

Breville JK119 ~ Cuppa during the adverts

Up until November 2008 I had always used the Breville JK52 model that was until it blown up and stopped working. So here is a review of the item that I bought to replace the JK52 model. I need to buy another kettle which was quick at boiling and was of course stylish. As I had had my last Breville since November 2005 I was more than happy to buy another Breville. Samsung's Neat Little Netbook

Advantages: Good performance, Good connectivity options, Good webcam, 160GB HDD, Upgradeable
Disadvantages: Not very good accessories, Picks up Fingerprints, Weird button under touchpad

button under touchpad - Resolution could be higher VERDICT Overall, I think the Samsung NC10 is an excellent laptop. I like the look of it, the performance, the keyboard, the connectivity options and even the battery life. I would prefer for it to have Draft N wireless and maybe for it to be a bit lighter but those are minor niggles. One thing I would have liked is a higher resolution, even if the 1024 x 600 is perfectly usable, a higher one would give more flexibility in how well certain content is displayed on the laptop. i.e. movies, graphics, etc. Those things aside, I would highly recommend the NC10 or even the newer Samsung netbook models that supercede the NC10 (i.e. NC20). Buy an external DVD drive and you can even use it as a normal laptop as the performance is very good for the price. Thanks for reading! ...
