this has to be my best DVD player i have ever bought in my life! it has everything i need, massive 320 GB memory for all my recording needs i can record hours and hours of TV shows that i would hate to miss but i can record and a touch of a button.
I love the way the DVD player is so simple to use and can be worked with ease (not like my grandmas DVD player, i'm going to smash that thing up ) all the buttons are clearly laid out and easy to see. i love the way you can put the DVD straight in and it's so simple to get it started up and playing.

That time of year had descended on me again where whether I need one or not it was time to purchase a new DVD recorder. After the success of last year's SamsungDVD recorder I again chose to stick with the brand again.
During last year having fought it off for a few years silver finally made way for black, as black had for silver five years prior; I am of course talking about casings. The SamsungDVD-SH 853 comes completely in black with a nice neon blue power button. I reach my first stumbling point, the new casing is a beautiful shiny black and as a result it attracts two things, dust and fingerprints. Being a home that comes complete with two dogs that rule triumphant, I find myself cloth in hand wiping over the DVD recorder twice daily, I pray to God this stops soon, or that the dogs are just going through a particularly molten ...

VERDICT
Overall, I think the Samsung NC10 is an excellent laptop. I like the look of it, the performance, the keyboard, the connectivity options and even the battery life. I would prefer for it to have Draft N wireless and maybe for it to be a bit lighter but those are minor niggles. One thing I would have liked is a higher resolution, even if the 1024 x 600 is perfectly usable, a higher one would give more flexibility in how well certain content is displayed on the laptop. i.e. movies, graphics, etc. Those things aside, I would highly recommend the NC10 or even the newer Samsung netbook models that supercede the NC10 (i.e. NC20). Buy an external DVD drive and you can even use it as a normal laptop as the performance is very good for the price.
