I got this camera from Argos and it cost about £100. I also got a free memory card and some vouchers for photo printing. That offer, I am fairly certain was exclusive to Argos at the time. The camera is compact and easy to use. It has a video function which also records sound. It also comes with a USB cable to upload photos and videos to the pc, along with software. The large screen is an asset and is very useful when taking photos and looking back at your images. I would say it is the largest screen I have seen on a camera so compact. I will not go into all the technical stuff, as it is all included on this site, but the fuctions menu is easy to navigate and fairly self-explainatory. The camera has a number of different image settings including changing the pixels to fit more images on, to filters to make photos black and white, sepia etc. A memory card is essential as the camera itself only holds about three 5M pictures. There is no power saving option and my main frustrations have been that this camera seems to run out of power at the most in opportune moments and usually when I am not carrying spare batteries. The consumption of these batteries is quite unbeleivable. I always get duracel high power alkaline batteries and they last for about 30 photos!!! The camera just bleeps and turns itself off saying low battery! The images taken have been of an excellent quality and if Samsung could perfect the power problem, a good buy.
