I found this a great little camera to use quite easy and quick to navigate throught the menu and a large enough screen to view your pictures back, quite a lot of versatility with different modes for night, snow etc, I use a camera in macro mode a lot and this one does fine going down as near as 4 cms and still giving a clear picture (on a tripod) I like the way samsung have changed the tripod screw in bit from plastic (on my old 3 million pixel samsung) for a metel screw in piece this is a lot stronger for heavy handed people like myself - I find useing 2 aa size batteries rechargable at 2100 mah gives me over a hundred photo's easily even with the back picture screen on and at the price (got mine reduced at argos) is a lot of camera for the money, I had my last camera for 2 years (still have it ) and had no problems and I did work it hard every week so I will be just as pleased if this one lasts as well
