I was bought this camera as a chrismtas present and I use it very regularly as it is so easy to use.
The functions and controls on the camera are very easy to work out and it has a very large number of useful settings , including an automatic setting which detects the conditions when you take the picture, an sets the camera up accordingly.
It has a manual setting for those who know what sort of settings they need, so it is ideal for both novices like me and moreexperienced photographers who know exactly what they want the camera to do.
It has no built in memory, but it has a memory card slot so I currently have a 2GB card in it, and it is now possible to get a 4GB card, so long video recordings are not a problem at all. And with the way memory is getting better and better, I dont suppose it will be long until you can get an 8GB card as well!
