As I am a big bargain hunter, I do look for products which offer real value for money. I encountered this product online and what was the main attraction was the fact that it was a small, black and very slim camera. Additionally, having seen that is had won an award previously, led me to believe that this little gadget must be rather impressive. I bought it for £163 plus £5.99 delivery and received it promptly.
For taking pictures, this camera couldn't be simpler to use! However if you find that you have a shaky hand, which you most definitely WILL, the picture quality can let you down A LOT! Therefore you've no choice but to switch on the reduced shake function, which can be found on the top of the camera. It does generally work, but I've found it doesn't always do the trick, and you can't put the flash on when you choose this function. Since I'm not expert when it comes to cameras, I use it merely for simple picture taking and this camera has not let me down at all! In terms of quality, it's not the best but you can't really ask for more considering the price!
The video and mp3 functions I had a little trouble with. If you want to store media on the card you have to open up new folders and specifically name them "PMP" and "MP3" folders, I didn't figure this out until a while later! If you do choose to use the camera as a multimedia player, the battery will drain pretty quickly. I've used it to listen to music and the battery lasts just a couple of hours; not bad, considering the MP3 player isn't the main function, just a little bonus!
When connecting to the computer, it's all pretty simple! I'm not computer whizz either and I find this process of transferring files a doddle!
Charge time: about 2 hours (BIG estimate)
Overall: Recommended due to ease of use and looks!
