I got this camera for my birthday when it first came out last September, and it's a brilliant camera.

With 6mp it is produces as good a quality picture as you will need (unless you are using a camera for proffessional use).

Features include:

a 2.5" TFT Colour LCD
Digital Zoom
Adjustable Picture Quality - from basic 1mp to 'extra fine' 6mp
Video recording
Dictaphone
PMP - MP3 player + Video Playback (you can upload videos in most formats from pc)
Photo Effects
and the memory card slot takes the most common size of card, so unlike a sony, you can get cheap memory cards (I got a 2GB card for £40).

One of the best features, i think, is the many picture modes. They include:
Auto (chooses best for you)
Program
Movie
Nightscene
Portrait
Children
Landscape
Close up
Text
Sunset
Dawn
Backlight
Firework
and Beach & Snow. (I know! theres alot!)

I have personally seen that some of these modes work brilliantly. Last bonfire night i used the 'Firework' option to get some great pics, and with the recent lunar eclipse i used the 'Nightscene' mode and got some clear pics of the moon.

As far as carrying this camera about, its smaller than a packet of fags in your pocket and is lightweight too. I have never found it a pain to take out in a pocket of my jeans on a night out.

The quality of the video is great, and with a big enough memory card you can record for hours.

The 2.5" TFT Colour LCD Screen is very clear and bright, giving you the chance to easily and clearly check the photos you've taken (and delete the unflattering/embarrassing ones!)

Also, this camera is very durable and reliable, i dont have a scratch on mine (and ive not exactly wrapped it up in cotton wool) and i havent had a single problem in the 6 months that i bought it.

Availability seems to be better now than when i got mine, i struggled to find anywhere that sold it and had to scour the internet. It seems to be widely available on the sites of the big technology companies.

The price of this camera is also very acceptable for what you get, I was happy to pay £180 in September, and it appears to have come down to around the £120 mark. A bargain if you ask me!

All round a great camera that id recommend!
