First of all, it should be noted that the version of this phone in the UK does NOT come with an FM radio, as specified in the ciao details. This may be different for other versions of the phone in different markets or countries, but certainly the version available for £20 on a PAYG o2 service does not have a radio.

I've been using it for over 2 weeks now, and I am more than satisfied - it's no iphone, but then, it's not meant to be. Colour screen, java, bluetooth, camera, speakerphone...for £20? And the screen seems particularly resistant to scratches so far.

While I mention bluetooth, I've seen many forum posts from people suggesting either bluetooth is missing, or they cannot find it. Certainly, it's not easy to find, but pressing the devices shortcut key (right direction pad by default) then pressing "options" then selecting "settings" (option 8) will bring up "activation" which you can then use to turn bluetooth on or off.

it has to be
2[OK]3[OK]4[OK][*]123[***][OK]2

Hope you followed that - it can be very confusing! To make it even more confusing, I've only used the [OK] key as an example - in fact, any key makes it "finish" the last press, in other words, if you pressed 234 you'd end up with dg, not adg as expected. Same goes for using T9 predictive text.

Using *#1234# to see firmware reports version E2100BAYIF1 which is latest according to o2

If I do ever get a reply or info from Samsung, I will be sure to add it to this review.

If you don't need those particular apps mentioned about, I'd definitely go for this as a budget phone.
