CHOICE I HAD TO MAKE ''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''' When choseing a phone i've always kept to the same phone make either NOKIA or SAMSUNG,i started with NOKIAs in 1998 when i first got in to phones as i found them easy to use, plus at the time you could change the fascias so they were very fashionable, But after always knocking off the key-lock (the feature which holds the keys in a unpressable state so no calls can be made) i dicided to look for a new type of phone as my credit sometimes got wasted on calls made unknown by myself while the phone was in my pocket. I then started looking at the SAMSUNG phones Most of these were clam shaped with the keys being hidden on the inside of the clam until the hand-set is opened revealing them.As for me , at least it meant an end to me accidently makeing phonecalls. I still to this day think this is a brilliant feature and one which kept me useing the SAMSUNG brand. This is what i like most about the SAMSUNG collection
thus you don't or carn't knock any of the keys makeing phone call while the phone is in your pocket a thing of the past.
THE PHONE I PICKED '''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''' After looking through lot's of different phone's that were on offer at the time i chose to go for a slightly different style of samsung phone the E350 ,this was a slide up / down style phone which id never tryed be4 and had lots of different feature which my older style SAMSUNG did'nt have like a camera a flash mp3 player mpeg4 video player as well as different games plus files can be transfered to and from your pc by the infra-red socket . This model was the less souped up version of the D600 version and was on special offer when i got it at £130,the price was the major factor in my purchace as all the other phones were a little over my league at around £180+,

WHAT IT FELT LIKE AFTER PURCHASE '''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''' The phone has some really good features on paper but after the purchase i was't that happy with these. First of all usually with all the SAMSUNG phones I've had in the past 4 years (3 in all) you get an extra battery but it seems this trend has stopped but as the battery life is also poor i thought that an extra battery would have been added. Secondly the phone feels a little to light in weight as well as feeling very cheap and low quality. The sound quality is also very tin pot even when compared to my old phone which is now over two and a half years old. I was happy with the mp3 player and mpeg4 player tho as these were very good the mp3 player when listened to by the earphones supplyed was brilliant too. The screen quality was also very poor as well it seems the brightness/contrast level had not been set correctly which can be a problem with not just phones but laptops as well .
FACTOR'S FOR '''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''' Lots of features with this phone from the 640 by 480 camera to the mp3 player also this phone can store 100+ messages which is very good as there is nothing worse than having to delete messages you wanted to keep. The phone also vibrates if you prefer not to have a ring tone plus this phone is very cheap if purchased from the right store on pay as you go.
FACTORS AGAINST '''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''' Poor quality screen with out of balance contrast and brightness settings feels very cheap and basic in its' feel no software included to help you down load up load you music ,pictures or video's either,no extra battery to compensate for the poor battery life. Basic phone in options not much to exsplore, sound quality when chatting is also very poor and tin pot also speech is poor when listened to from othere phones as well as on voice recording.
OVER ALL FEELINGS ABOUT THE PHONE '''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''' I feel for a phone that was promoted on bus stops and billboards just before christmas this was a very poor done job for the price i payed, I thought i was going to get a really good phone but i was very dissapointed and to make matters worse the phone's screen broke after just 2 months of use. Im sorry to say this is a poor phone with lots of missed opportunity, maybe they will change or add to these features but only time will tell over all i give this phone a 4/10
