Advantages Advantages Easy to use and excellent value for money

    Disadvantages Disadvantages None for me!

Unfortunately, within only a few months of purchase, my previous mobile phone decided to let me down and I found myself having to search for something new. I always feel extremely overwhelmed where mobile phones are concerned, particularly as there are so many from which to choose. The Product After spending approximately twenty minutes studying a number of phones on display in one of the Orange stores, I decided on the Samsung C3050. The phone is very sleek and stylish in appearance and measures only 4½ cm wide, 9½ cm long and approximately 1½ cm deep and is extremely lightweight. As my ... more

Advantages Advantages Tons of features, listed in review. Good sound quality, Easy to use, Small and Light. Cheap.

Disadvantages Disadvantages Limited Ringtones, bland schemes.

Samsung C3050 This is a relatively new phone on the market, being released around February this year. I've had this phone since May, so I have been using it for a reasonable amount of time and have a good idea on all of the features and reliability. Looks The phone has the usual Samsung looks, with Samsung pasted very clearly above the screen on the phone. How many people need reminding what make their phone is every time they look at it? I suppose most phones have this, but it is a bit annoying. The C3050 is stylish and easy to hold, it's design is a bit strange because it has two blocks of ... more

Advantages Advantages Good range of features

Disadvantages Disadvantages Poor quality camera, confusing menus at times

I came by this phone for rather a convoluted reason. My Aunt, who's not very technologically minded, has two identical Nokia phones, one of which will text my Orange phone, and one which will not. The one that refuses to co-operate is her main phone, so, as she told me that she was on T-Mobile, I thought I'd see if there was a reasonably cheap but reliable phone available on their Pay-As-You-Go page. Having picked out a couple of likely candidates, I whittled them down to this one after reading through the Revoo ratings. This phone, after one successful attempt, then turned out to be no better ... more

Advantages Advantages Simple to use, has everything you need from a basic phone plus a bit more, cheap.

Disadvantages Disadvantages Pointless having a camera as quality is awful. Reception can be iffy sometimes.

There's endless things the latest mobile phones can do these days, but for people like me who mainly use a phone as a phone, the Samsung C3050 is all you need. My main requirements for a phone is that it needs to be able to make calls, send text messages, and be purple! When I received this Samsung as a Christmas present I was pleasantly surprised that it could do a few more things and still remain a simple and cheap phone. Here's a summary of some of its features and my experience with them. Calls and texting: These are simple enough and I haven't really encountered any problems with them. I ... more

Advantages Advantages Does everything I need it to do

Disadvantages Disadvantages I am not sure if it can download pictures

Over the last 2 years I have had a phone that was totally wasted on me. It would be great for someone who knew how to use all the functions but I don't fit that category. I went back to The Carphone Warehouse as they usually have good offers and I got a free Wii last time and now they have free gifts available again. As I work more from home now I did not need the same amount of minutes so was not looking for as good a contract but still got £100 Sainsburys voucher for a £15.50 a month contract. This gives 100 minutes and 250 texts. Anyway - back to the phone. It is small and lightweight but ... more
