Advantages Advantages Runs 'bare Android' ICS, no camera lag, fast smartphone

Disadvantages Disadvantages Ugly, HUGE, uncomfortable to hold, feels cheap, no expandable memory, over priced

I'll admit, I'm a geek. I love gadgets, I love having the latest toy and I love playing about with things that beep. So when it comes to smartphones I tend to want the latest and greatest, often opting to buy a newly released phone sim free mid contract to satisfy my cravings. It's not cheap, but it's fun... For the last 12 months I'd owned an HTC Desire HD. Being a fan of HTC handsets and previously owning an HTC Desire prior to my Desire HD I had found a brand that I liked and I couldn't see myself moving away from. But breaking me away from my HTC comfort I saw reports in the press about a ... more

Now, before I go any further, I’ll tell you a story. I am an Android fanboy. I have been for a year. I’ve been a Google lover for longer than that, but after moving from a Blackberry Curve to a HTC Desire HD, I fell in love. However, I made the mistake of taking up a 24 month contract and although there’s nothing wrong with the Desire HD as such, I’d seen the Samsung Galaxy Nexus and had been lusting after it. But with a year left to go on my contract, I couldn’t really justify £500 just to get a new phone. I was drawn in though by the adverts, the features and just the sheer awesomeness of it ... more

I recently purchased this phone and i think that it is a very good upgrade for people who like the android OS and also an amazing phone for people using blackberries and iphones to switch to if they are interested in becoming android users. Ice Cream Sandwich is by far the best android upgrade yet.I have been using the phone for about a week now and i have dropped it many times, the phone seems to be holding up to these blows. However, im sure that if you were not "reasonably" careful with it you could smash the screen or at least scratch it.It is sporting a very good prossecor i believe 1 ... more

This phone is seriously the love of my life. Coming from a blackberry I was so scared to make the jump to android but boy did it change my life. Stock android is beautiful and I think the screen size is amazing, plus this phone has amazing support. I love the lock of the almost bezel-less screen and the curved screen. I only have a few issues with the phone,1. the loud speaker is so quite, I can barely here the other person if I am talking to someone while driving, and 2. sometimes my phone will freeze and will not respond to my touch, it has only happened 3 times since I got my phone a year ... more
