From the first moment it was announced at IFA 2010, I was dreaming about Galaxy Player. I don’t know why, may be because I didn’t have any smart phones or super cool devices before, but I decided to get this one. And the idea I would get Android 2.1-based music player totally comparable by specifications with best smart phones was very exciting to me))))

This is the first ever player based on Android OS, but now it is possible to predict a fast rise in a number of Android-based (more than 2.1 version) players in the following several years. And it seems to be a nice idea to apply what is considered to be the fastest growing mobile OS to music players. Before we used players only for listening to music, then they acquired screen and we saw video, and now they acquire Wi-Fi modules – and who knows may be they’ll get 3G in the future – to connect us to Internet. And I think this is one of the best features of Galaxy Player – it has Wi-Fi module so you just need to be in Wi-Fi range to easily connect to Internet. It connects automatically))))))))
The player is equipped with GPS module apart from Wi-Fi. This is totally new introduction to music players. And I feel like it is going to be a common thing in future players. People need to get a way anywhere they go – they want to be connected to their favorite sites and social networks, and Galaxy Player provides this possibility. Thanks to Android Market you can download multiple applications (oh, I have more than 40! And cannot stop^^). Many games, useful and funny applications that will make your day easier and interesting~~ I love it!
Music in Galaxy Player is completely another story – I have never heard something like this before! Seriously! It is powered with SoundAlive function which makes sounding so different from any other player in the world! Just try using different modes looking for the best that suits you – more bas, more instrumental, more high notes, more voice - just try it while listening to music and see how it changes. Player supports many files including MP3, OGG, AAC, M4A, WAV audio and MPEG4, H.263, H.264, WMV, DivX and XviD video.
If 8 or 16 GB is not enough for you, Galaxy Player has a micro-SD slot for memory extending. So you can add more memory and enjoy perfect music and video!!!
