Galaxy Player - first if its kind 1 of 1 Ciao Users found the following review helpful

Advantages touch screen, android os, response

Disadvantages none

Galaxy Player was first revealed at IFA 2010 in September. It caught my attention from the first glance – a slick and modern design in white and silver, somehow similar to Galaxy S cell phone. I literally fall in love with it))
Above all it is the first player to run Android OS which originally suppose to be used only in cell phones, but Samsung decided to apply this OS to music players. And they did it very successfully – you cannot see any simple flow in their Galaxy Player. Android has its strong sides compare to other mobile OS – firstly, it has an easy and convenient interface. The 3.2” TFT 240x400 screens is wide enough to watch your favorite dramas, movies, and series. And the best part about it you don’t need to convert files – just drag and drop them into the player, and it will automatically convert them into readable files. Player supports many files including MP3, OGG, AAC, M4A, WAV audio and MPEG4, H.263, H.264, WMV, DivX and XviD video.
Secondly, no need to worry about its sounding. Samsung made substantial investment in its products to make them sound perfectly! They developed a sound technology called SoundAlive which is absolutely unique to music players. By using multiple sound presets you can change how music plays: for example, adding more bas it will sound deeper, adding instrumental you would hear instrumental part clearly, using vocal provides you with clear and deep vocal, etc. It definitely defies Galaxy Player from many other players in the market, but be sure to have good mics.
I was telling about Android based cell phones – we all know them)) But because Galaxy Player is a music player it makes things more exiting: just imagine you can use Wi-Fi connection in your player to get access to the Internet, and most important you can use Android Market to download from more than 200,000 different applications!! I like facebook, msn, skype, subway map, weather and news widgets – I use them a lot!). All kinds of applications and games are available on Android Market.
I cannot predict all consumer electronics trends for the next several years, but it is absolutely for sure Android-based players will gain more popularity due to their design, specifications, and usability. Samsung Galaxy Player is merely first of its kind among Android players of a new generation. We need to wait a little more to see a crazy race among all major electronics companies for a place in consumer’s pockets))
Galaxy Player has specifications a head over all existing players plus its bestselling design will make many people feel like changing their old generation Apple players.
