    Fantastic piece of kit I had been looking into getting a tablet computer for some time ever since the Ipad came out. I have been into the shop looking at the Ipad countless times and weighing up the cost against the cool factor and trying to decide if it would be just another gadget that I would buy and use constantly for a week before the novelty wore off. There was one other big problem with the Ipad for me and that is that no matter how desirable it might be I really didn't want to be trapped into having to use itunes again which I detest with a passion.     When i first opened the box, i was taken back on how small it was, as i was expecting a fairly large, book sized device. It's size, even in my small hands, does not resemble anywhere near its promo pic and if its screen is 7 inch, than so am I. lol. The boot up time is acceptable, thrashing any laptop or notebook i have experience on, taking about the same time to boot up as your average smart phone.     Advantages Advantages Easily portable, expandable memory, good screen, ease of use, wide range of apps, affordable

    Disadvantages Disadvantages Can be slow causing crashes (occasional), battery life, camera is grainy and blurred at times.

    Overall the Galaxy P1000 is an excellent piece of technology. I enjoy the layout, the Android operating system is vast and easily accessible to all ages, and downloading a new app can take a matter of moments. The HD screen is sharp and reacts well. Equipped with front and back cameras it is perfect for shooting on the go, although you have to keep the device super still to gain any clarity on the pictures. The tablet fits into my pocket and is not so heavy it pulls my trousers down! The performance is slightly slow depending on how full the expandable memory is but acceptable none the less. I ... more

    Advantages Advantages Mid size makes it the most portable tablet with out sacrificing screen size.

    Disadvantages Disadvantages Gets a bit hot on continuous use.

    I have been using my galaxy tab for a month now and I am loving it. The interface needs a little "getting use to" but once you get a hang of it, its fairly easy to use. It's very customizable and you can add shortcuts wherever you like. What I love most about this tablet is its screen size. Its big enough to enjoy easy reading and browsing with out constantly zooming in on small text and it is small enough that you would not feel burdened to bring it around wherever you go.     I've been using Samsung Galaxy Tab now for a month. From my experience, I find this Tablet helpful. Its wide screen completely fill the whole page when i am reading on an ebook. No need for tap-tap to zoom in. Its very snappy when slide my finger on it. When i view some pictures on facebook its good. Its very handy and light weight I can put it on my bag, very comfortable to carry on. Now, there is wifi where ever I go, I can check my email, facebook and other stuff on the go.
