The camera also functions as a media player for video and MP3 playback, with a 2.5mm headphone port and an external speaker with SRS 3D acoustic technology, which I really like. It makes me enjoy my works with the camera. Among its other notable features are face-detection autofocus and autoexposure, a self-portrait mode that will only snap a shot when your face is in the middle of the frame, automatic redeye removal, a Multi-Slide Show mode that adds transitions and user-loaded MP3s to on-camera slideshows, and built-in help.

I really wasn't too sure about buying a samsung camera, but this put my worries to rest. I had always brought samsung phones as i love their design and performance, especially the touchscreen models, but cameras were an unknown quality for me.
The Samsung NV8 Digital Camera is a stylish camera that comes with a whopping 8MP, which i found sensational to use! Coming with 16MB built-in memory, its enough to store a few photos until you need to transfer them to your pc.
This is easy to do, simply plug in the USB cables provided and my computer installed the software devices of the camera. With that done, i was able to very quickly transfer my pictures to my pc to store and print at a later date.
It has a 35mm focal length for improved focus on images and with an 8 mega pixel resolution you are able to produce highly detailed photos ...

Advantages: Versatility, capacity, sise, reliability Disadvantages: Doesn't work with my SD card reader
I originally bought the SanDisk 8GB micro SDHC card for my Samsung SGH-G600 phone, not having read in the user manual that the maximum capacity card it could accommodate is 2GB. Don't get me wrong, it did work in the phone but it showed a capacity of 1GB and would not allow any ineteraction with the Samsung PC Studio software.
Being somewhat disgruntled that I had wasted my money, the card lay in a drawer unused for about six months until one day, whilst rummaging through my various electronic bits-and-bobs, I found the I had a micro SD adapter. At this point a bulb appeared above my head and I wondered if the micro SDHC card (in the adapter) might work in my Fuji FunePix S1000 camera. Eureka, it did!
Until this point I had been restricted to taking around a hundred photos in any outing with a 512MB XD card (I like to take them ...

i found that its hard to edit the videos on the computer thought because it records as an AVI.
i think this camera is fantastic it has face recognision upto 9 faces not that ive had a photo of 9 faces yet , but ive had it working for 5 people so it does work.
i found its quite hard to take a steady photo of my wobbling baby when she's in her walker, even on shake reduction and can be a bit of a shakey image, i found a way to solve it , to set it to "scene" choose "children" and then select shake reduction , often has no flash when i do that , but its alot better.
does great close up's and is 8 mp which is fab, large photos though once uploaded to computer so often have ...

Playback of video files such as movies and music videos are supported. PMP video playback functions include play previous file, continuous play, high speed play, pause and mute are fully supported. The image is continuously pictured twice so that color information is extracted from one and shape information is extracted from the other one to present the clear image of natural color and minimized hand tremble.
