4 Stars A New Galaxy with Samsung and Android Review with images 10/01/2011

Advantages Advantages Large, clear and responsive screen, feature packed, large memory capacity

Disadvantages Disadvantages Sound quality could be better, occasionally freezes

I got an iPod Touch last year and one of the things I really liked about it was being able to use apps on it - apps were available for every kind of thing including shopping, games and news gathering. Of course many apps only worked on my Touch if I was connected to the internet, revealing the app to be the perfect addition to a mobile phone. When my previous mobile phone contract expired in early August las year, I had decided I would definitely be getting something which was compatible with apps, but I wasn't sure whether to get the iPhone and stick with iTunes apps, or approach the new ... more

Farewell iPhone I was an iPhone convert, I was all about the iPhone, the iPod, well basically anything with a lower case ‘i’ in front of it. Infact, when my 18 month contract came to its conclusion recently, I was certain that I wanted to sit it out and wait for the iPhone 5 to be released, however, I started to become more and more aware of the Samsung Galaxy S, Samsung’s leading smart phone, recently voted phone of the year. So after a lot of deliberation and after being wowed by the salesman in the shop, I was hooked and decided to take out a new 24 month contract with T Mobile ... more

3 Stars My Little Samsung Review with images 27/01/2012

Advantages Advantages A good little phone if you're not too technology obsessed...

Disadvantages Disadvantages Camera is pants, and has got slowly more hard to cope with!

Ciao have this model of my phone as an MP3 player, but it is actually a phone promise you that! Since I’ve now had my phone 9 months, I figured it was time to give it a thorough going over, to tell you all if it’s really worth buying – especially since it isn’t anywhere near as expensive as it once was – so you can buy it on pay as you go without breaking the bank, which is always a bonus. I have mine on contract but come September that will be up for renewal, and I’ll be upgrading to an iPhone – that’s if I can’t get enough amazon vouchers in between times to get one! Advantages Advantages Screen quality, aesthetics and build quality, functionality - great phone!

Disadvantages Disadvantages Little help when navigating settings menus, and when help is offered hard to follow...

Positives The phone was so easy to use, the gorgeous 'Amoled' screen worked effortlessly and robustly. It was nice to have such a reactive screen, that would allow you to touch anywhere and it would react near instantly (more than I can say for previous phones I have owned such as the BlackBerry Storm). Secondly as mentioned by many other reviews and companies the extensive range of Apps offered by Android is amazing, there are Apps for everything you would ever want from creating your shopping list, to splitting the bill, and then to check you bank balance (NatWest) to make sure you have ... more

The Samsung Galaxy S! My current phone; I've had this phone for about 8 months now and I've no plans as of yet to change. It's not very often that I manage to find a phone I am happy with and settle with it enough to want to keep it. I'm usually the type to go looking for a new phone after a few months of use, although this isn't the case with the Samsung Galaxy S, I am completely sold with this handset. I bought this phone on contract with orange from the internet, I use my student discount and pay £24 a month for 500 minutes, unlimited texts and 500 MB of internet after having paid £50 ... more
