In my opinion the HP 350XL printcartridge is good value for money. It provides a high quality print everytime on a variety of different papers and lasts a really long time. I definately think it is worth while buying the XL cartridges as they work out cheaper in the long run. I bought this product when printing my dissertation at university and despite the fact that it was over 200 pages long and i had to make 2 copies the cartridge lasted the whole time as well as having some ink left over. The ink was also quick drying so it was very smudge resistant even on glossy paper. I would recommend this product to anyone who is thinking of buying a black inkcartridge for their HP printer. ...

The benefit of using Original HP inkjet printcartridges is that they offer consistent print quality and reliable performance.With the HP 350 you can expect "archival-quality documents that resist fading for decades" thanks to HP Vivera Ink. Although HP printcartridges are coming down in price you can still expect to pay a lot more than other substitute brands.
The real question is whether the extra money is worth it. With some of the alternative products on the market today I am inclined to believe you can the same quality for less money.

removing them from the packaging, just dont touch the little electronic chip on the base of the cartridge when you are installing them.
The ink is durabrite ink meaning it is less likely to smudge with water, and has anti fade qualities. The print quality of photos is superb with the ink and I would recommend people buy genuine ink as it works so much better. Although ink refills are very cheap, the amount of cleaning and wasted ink probably brings the price in line with the genuine article.
A top tip that I have found is to purchase the ink from ebay ensuring it is in a sealed package. Got my latest pack on an auction for £16 :-) ...
