Apart from the fact that Samsung sponsor Chelsea Football Club there is very little to fault with the company, their products or customer service. After owning the Samsung LE22B450 for just under 6 months if now presented with the choice between any other manufacturer I would automatically seek out the Samsung equivalent due to my experiences with this television.
Needing a small television that could sit comfortably on my dressing table I opted for the 22 inch LCD, the deciding factor being price at only £199.99 for a high specification LCD screen that has a plethora of features and the ability via the HDMI port to act as a larger screen for my computer. The screen measurement of 22 inches is as you would expect is diagonally from corner to corner and the black hard plastic finish is polished and sturdy to the touch and once placed on the solid base it provides an air of quality that really adds to a room.
The HD display is to put it simply out of this world and despite not being the largest of screens every possible detail is projected in crystal clear clarity with a huge array of dazzling colours making picture distortion is a thing of the past. You know you have stumbled onto a gem when you prefer to sit and watch television in the bedroom on a relatively small display rather than in the comfort of the living room surrounded by creature comforts. I expected the display to be good but this exceeded my expectations and then went that little bit further, the range and depth of colour is worth the pricetag alone but again it exceeds expectation by producing sounds that are out of this world.
The speakers are deemed to be invisible to the naked eye and I at first I did struggle to see how it could produce so much sound with no obvious speakers located at the front and sides. The speakers are blended into the finish and can provide sounds at a whisper or leave the surface on which it stands vibrating when cranked up to the max.
Being a full digital television it will still work when the UK switches over and with teletext, energy saving, sleeper, multi language menus and an easy to grasp auto tune feature this television really is the bees knees and I would recommend it ten times out of ten.
