However when I moved further away the clarity came through - awsome - X Factor was fantastic!!

Not had an LCD tv before so was a little unsure of the quality of standard definition viewing, When I first turned it on I was about 1m from the tele and there was fast moving sport on screen, and my heart sank as pixelation and judder were noticeable. However when I moved further away the clarity came through - awsome - X Factor was fantastic!! The sound quality is great (to my untrained ear) and the Blu ray player just tops it all off, even with standard DVD's the picture is clearly better than on my off CRT with normal DVD. The current offer at Currys means this is a must buy if your budget is around £800, (£799 for tv and blu ray)
