Well I bought this television about a month ago now and this is my review. Don't forget to look at the photos I have included) There are quite literally hundreds to choose from and we spent some time looking at all the options we could have got a L.C.D television cheaper than we paid but I wanted something to be reliable and last a while We looked at Currys, comet, sunwin house, shop at Panasonic and empire electricals, which is where we bought it from and paid 799 pounds and an extra 100 pounds for the TV stand
I decided on the Samsung model as it seem to be quite good value for money and it had built in free view which was great as it meant one less box on the TV stand and noticeable less wires on show
The empire electrical store I went to on ingleby road in Bradford has a separate collections where house a few miles away on canal road which is a little inconvenient but it had to be done, You will need a large car to pick this piece of kit up as the box is large. And heavy
I was very happy when I got it home and plugged it all in. On getting the television home the next job was to get it out of the box, I didn't expect the television to be quite so heavy as when you look at then been so slim line there doesn't seem to be much about them, I manage getting the television out of the box and on to the new TV stand which again I bought from empire. The television unit came complete with its very own desktop stand that is basically an oval piece of plastic with a steam to the television.
The next job was to plug it in and attaching the real no problems here. You have a very neat little section at the back of the TV with all the plug points (see photos for details) I don't normally look at the instructions book they give you but on this occasion I decided to as it mentioned has an automatic tune function so I looked this up to see how you got started the instructions are simple to follow as stated in the instructions you follow it tunes in the television and all the programs tuned in to the correct stations even the free view channels tuned in with real ease after the terrestrial channels have tune them selves in.
All the instructions are very easy to follow on screen and you can custom set up the television to your own requirements but I found the factory settings to be just right enough for me. Its great picture quality and amazing sound this is an absolutely brilliant TV for anyone looking to buy an L.C.D television. The picture quality is so clean clear and crisp, and the sound is just quite amazing it is so clear and crisp it is really quite something with its SRS True Surround XT integrated speakers with a cutting-edge
You can if you want to hook your stereo system up to it, a home cinema system and even your pc to watch your downloaded movies and music videos. If you want to play games off a console or your pc, you can with the option to change the response time and sharpness on the screen screen. This model has digital built in, is HD ready and comes with a HDMI connection on the back panel for extra picture quality. You can access, with the remote, and range of options including an equalizer for the sound to fine tune it to how you like it; there are all the standard change options like color, brightness and contrast. For anyone looking at purchasing a new television and want to an LCD this is perfect. It's a great buy. You wont be disappointed.

I do like Samsung products, for the very simple reason, i have severail items around the house made by samsung that are reasonably priced and do tend to last such as a video camera and a microwave to name just a couple.
I have the set mounted on the wall on a specially designed bracket. These brackets are anything from £60.00 to over £100.00 depending on where you purchase it. I think they are probably cheaper off the internet.
The ... ...products.I put this actual set next to the Toshiba (same size) and to be honest in terms of style, not a patch. It looks like a large picture frame hanging on the wall with a thick 2 inch black border and a silver V sahpe piece at the bottom.
The stand is easy to remove if you want to hang on the wall or you can use the stand of which the set comes with already fitted. To remove, its 4 screws at the back and the stand , of which actualy fits inside ...

I was in two minds whether to go for this Tv, or another popular brand, after much deliberation I decided to go with the Samsung, and I am exstatic that I did. PS: I had an issue where the IDTV froze, and needed a technical engineer to enter a code to unfreeze it, but this was done under warranty and only took a week for Samsung to do. It's only happened once. ...

It's great value for money when you think of the size of the thing, however the picture quality can be let down sometimes.
Xbox 360 is brilliant on game mode especially gears of war!
all in all i would deffinately recomend this tv to anyone with a lounge large enough!

this T.V was purchased as a result of my CRT 28" Goodmans finally starting to die. the image on the screen of my crappy Goodmans went all pink, which is awful for watching football or snooker especially. I am now looking back and feeling glad of the situation as now i own one of the best T.Vs i will ever own. Granted the picture quality can't compete with Sony BRAVIA but they are only affordable to the wealthy and I'm certainly not. the contrast ... ...the monster also has a stack of features such as;
