Samsung Lumix L201 - well worth the money

Advantages Looks great, durable, easy to use
Disadvantages No complaints from me!
I had been wanting to upgrade my digital camera for a while but was confused as to which camera would be the best as there seemed to be so many available!
One thing that attracted me to the Samsung Lumix L201 was how it looked - I loved the choice of bright colours, and upon visiting my local Currys I decided to purchase one in bright pink (even though pink is not usually my colour!)The camera comes with wrist strap, charger and a USB cable..the USB cable plugs into the charger.
The Lumix looks great and is practical as it measures less than 20mm wide which makes it easy to carry with me all the time (you never know when you might need it!) It weighs only 110g (before putting the memory card in) - but even with the memory card in it doesn't make a difference and can easily be kept in your pocket without feeling like you are carrying a brick!Simplicity is another great factor - it looks easy to use, but even better is the fact that it IS easy to use - it is a simple point and click camera and I managed to work out which settings are best for what, without even looking at the instruction manual!
One thing I hated about my old digital camera was constantly having to buy batteries - with the Lumix this problem is eliminated as it comes with an in-built battery that can be charged by plugging into a mains socket. Once fully charged I find that I barely have to charge it as the battery life is so long, and I use my camera on a regular basis for both photos and video. The back of the camera has a 2.7 inch LCD screen which is great for previewing photos and getting rid of any unwanted ones meaning my memory card doesn't get filled up with photos that I delete as soon as I upload onto my PC!
Unlike some digital cameras this one record sound which is a definate plus - and it recorded very clearly. The self-timer is a great feature and it is very easy to figure out - this helps a lot when taking group photos etc.
This camera is very durable - it has been taken on many drunken nights out and dropped who knows how many times - and yet it is still in great condition and functions the same as it did when it was new.All in all I would recommend this camera to anybody - especially people like me who aren't very technical as it is so user friendly!

this is helpful on the basis that anyone wanting to buy a camera will want to know the Spec. It can't just look good, it has to be able to perform well. So all in all the 'Tech Talk' us an important part of any review for this type of product.
