...I use one of the laptops as my work computer, set up to run on Windows XP. I like it as it has good looks, it's robustly built, has a clear display on the Black TFT screen, with good quality life-like colours and good display clarity.
With a PentiumM740 1.73Ghz processor, 512MB RAM and an 80GB HDD, multiple applications, playing games, DVDs and is easy for this machine. Running high CPU usage games like Doom or Halo for example, even set on the highest resolution did not have any adverse effects on performance, although it does tend to get quite hot when running high usage applications.
