I love my Samsung Pixon. It is the best phone I have ever had, however evey time I get a new phone it betters the previous one!
I bought this phone mainly for the camera, having an 8 mega pixel camera on your phone is brilliant, I always have my phone with me, therefore I always have my camera with me and never miss a photo opportunity. The photo quality and features of the camera rival standard digital cameras in the £150 - £200 price range. People can`t believe the pictures I`ve taken on this phone and assume I have used an expensive SLR or similar. There are many great camera features such as slow exposures, macro, blink detection and manual adjustments of white ballance, exposure and ISO. The touch screen interface is very easy to use to set up the shot and also for editing images and movies.
Other things that made me buy this phone are the touch screen, it can be double clicked, it also vibrates when clicked. The media player for films and music is great. Call and music quality from the earpiece and the speaker is great. Also the email system is very good, much like a blackberry.
The downside to the phone is mainly the hold button, it only takes a very short press to activate and deactivate the hold function and I regularly find I have taken photos, deleted contacts etc while the hold has come off in my pocket. It is very annoying. The other thing you may not like is the lack of apps for this phone, I have installed google maps but that is the only useful application that is available, when on the iphone, nokia and sony phones applications are easy to come by.
To get the most out of this phone it is best to get it with a contract. I got mine with a 18 month contract with O2. They gave me 600 any network minutes, unlimited sms, unlimited email, unlimited internet and the phone for £27.50 a month. This lets me get the most out of the phones features, I can receive my gmail directly to the phone, geo tag my photos, use google maps, browse the internet, upload photos to facebook and flicr, plus I`m sure I am missing many other points.
If you are looking for a good touch screen phone with an amazing camera and you can compromise on the lack of applications and games and can put up with the hold coming off, then this is the phone for you.

Advantages: The fabulous eight mega pixel camera, and the convenient and practical memory card.. Disadvantages: Battey life is not exactly poor but not exactly great either.
