Whilst doing an open university degree, I noted that my printing cost were getting a little out of hand using my HP Inkjet. So I decided that it would be a far better option (as most of my work was simple black and white text) to purchase a Laser Printer. So I had a look at the various options available and plumped for the Samsung ML2010. I purchased this from Morgan Computers uk at a cost of £49.99 and for £3.50 P&P I received it the very next day. Set up was a dawdle unpack it load the toner cartridge and fill the paper tray, plug in the usb and windows says new printer please wait whilst we install the drivers, two mins later it is ready to go. And go it does it can manage without a problem 20 pages per minute of text as quoted. Since it prints at 1200x 600 dpi then the text is crisp and clear with no ragged edges. At an average page cost 1.2p per sheet then is certainly far cheaper than using an inkjet. To any one out there looking for a cheaper option to print text I would thoroughly recommend this little beauty. It takes up less room than my Inkjet did which is for the moment back in it's box, the only downside is it is mono (black and white) tho I do now see the price of colour models is fast coming down under the £100 mark
