Compared to other laser printers of similar price range the Samsung 2250 is the cheapest to run. It prints text amazingly for the price. The printer is attractive and well engineered. Its only major flaw is its printing of greys and gradients... for this reason this printer is suited predominantly for printing diagrams and text.
******** VITAL STATS *********
PRICE: £93.49 (bought online) PRINT SPEED: 22 pages per min (quick to print first page too!) RESOLUTION: 1200dpi
TONER: 5000 TONER PRICE: £54 (approx)
PRICE PER PAGE (of toner): 1p
******** REASON FOR PURCHASE ********
As a student having to print lecture notes, reports, emails, etc it was becoming expensive to print everything on my inkjet. Also as I print predominantly text and diagrams I thought a laser printer would improve the quality of my print outputs. College charges 5p per page for printing! So I can thoroughly recommend this to any science / engineering students who has a high workload! Good going away present from a relative perhaps?!!
I spent a long time choosing which printer to buy... I set myself a budget of £120 pounds.
****** ADVANTAGES OVER SIMILAR PRICE PRINTERS ******
The most important factor in my choice was the cost per page. Most of the other lasers in this price range are fairly low capacity with toners only lasting 2500 pages. The Samsung 2250 meanwhile toner is supposed to last up to 5000 pages. The printer also features a toner saving button which increases this further (I have it on all the time and the quality is just as good)
The Samsung 2250 was also the only printer of the bunch to have a conventional printer tray like you see in more expensive printers. The print tray also has the largest capacity of the group (300 pages). There is a second fold down tray for printing envelopes and other special papers.
The print quality of text from the printer is excellent, as good as far more expensive printers. The printer does not struggle even with unusual fonts.
******* CONCULSION ******* The printer has a good interface, is easy to setup, robust and well designed.
Buy this printer if you want a good quality, budget, cost effective laser printer.

very helpfull. tells you all you need to know about the printer, although a few more things on subjects such as "easy to use", "buttons hard to press", the usual stuff.

Sorry for the rating, but I would have liked to have seen a bit more with regards to the printer especially with regards to print quality, print speed, ease of use etc. You seem to briefly mention these without going into a bit more detail.
