I bought my Samsung ML-4500 about six months ago to replace my ageing HP DeskJet 540 as I found I had no use for colour printing. Laser printers are getting cheaper all the time and after getting tired of paying £25 a time for HP black cartridges, which didn't last a particularly long time, paying £35 for toner catridges which would last a lot longer looked an attractive option. The Samsung ML-4500 is a budget black toner laser printer with the quality and features of far more expensive machines. It has a neat appearance, in the standard “computer ivory” colour, and has a small footprint, taking up only 12” x 12” of desk space. Around 150 sheets of paper can be stacked in the in tray in the top of the printer, printed pages being delivered to the near-vertical slot adjacent to it. Samsung are not well recognised to produce quality user-friendly laser printers due to their lack of ... promotions and advertisements of their products. (Quite modest of them) A laser printer that has gone well past its sell-by date, Samsung ML4500, an old Samsung model which has gone unnoticed... But as they say 'Old is Gold'. People have already started noticing some of the common faults and defects of modern day-to-day produced products.
