The phone runs the new Windows Phone 7 operating system, which was only released in Q4 2010. I think that the OS looks similar to that of the Xbox 360 and they have integrated a lot of extra features into it for example Microsoft Office, Xbox 360 as well as the new Samsung Hub.

The downsides to the new operating system is that there are a few missing features but Microsoft have said that they will be added during Jan 2011.

On the hardware side, it is using the best hardware at the moment that has the Windows Phone 7 OS on it. It is the fastest device and has an amazing Super AMOLED, which makes the images and videos look truly vibrant and clear. The design is simple but it has a metal back and that makes it more resistant. The only downside is that in the UK it only comes with 8GB of storage.

If you are looking for a new Windows Phone 7 device then this is the best one to get.

Yes, I had heard that in the UK it's 8GB only. However there are UK stores that sell theh 16GB version. I bought one for £245, which was imported from Germany. It had an EU plug, but they sent an adaptor in th box. The only downside is that due to the original carrier (it was unlocked but was a Deutsche Telekom branded one) the search on IE ony searches google germany...
