Samsung P460
Samsung is rocking with its latest P series notebooks with highly configured features and latest technology. Earlier I have reviewed 15.4" series P560 which also was loaded with good features and now in this series I have chose another popular 14.1" screen size laptop.

I will discuss here good features of this laptop and its advantages as well as disadvantages also. First of all I always use to keep write on processor and here also a good processor we can have. The time is now for multicore processor and kipping this tradition on Samsung has provided, Intel Core 2 Duo P8600 with clock speed of 2.4 GHz and front size bus speed is 1066 MHz, Another point that should be consider in processor is its L2 cache size and in this processor it has 3MN of L2 cache size, front size bus speed and L2 cache are common in both of the models, but they have made slightly change in clock speed with 2.26GHz to 2.4GHz.
Now if we think about this processor than its providing excellent speed of 2.4 GHz and have a better L2 cache with 1066 MHz of bus speed, we can say that it is modern multicore processor and has a good speed and accessibility.

The next point is its memory size in both term, internal RAM and Hard disk drive. Here RAM is more important to be considering because it has a main role in processing speed to run application smoothly and Samsung has managed it well by providing 3 GB of DDR3 RAM with 1066 MHz of speed. DDR3 technology is best available technology now a days and it has excellent performance with gaming and 3D applications. Generally this size of RAM is more enough to run approximately all kind of applications, but if wants 64 bit technology software's and operating system than you can chose another option or u can upgrade it to 4 GB, the maximum available choice in this model.

Next memory is its storage media which is more or less common in all brands of laptops and it is 250 GB Serial ATA technology hard disk drive,. 250GB is in my opinion, reasonable and best option to have that. More capacity hard drive we can choose from 320 GB etc. But I think SSD drive will be the best choice to have that because that drive has less probability of crash and our DATA remains secure. But due to the high cost with less capacity, that drive is available in very few models of laptops.

Display is something common with 14.1" bright screen resolution with maximum resolution 1280 x 800(WXGA ), with wide screen display. 14.1" size of laptop is meant for generally portability and it can be easily taken to everywhere with less effort or we can say that it is portable friendly series laptops.

Now the main target in on graphics card and here also a good graphics card available in this model and having Intel GMA X4500, with 128MB of graphics memory with some shared memory also it can provide good graphics result in gaming and 3D applications. If you are planning to buy it for complex 3D applications like MAYA or 3DS max than this capacity of graphics is not sufficient you should have some extra dedicated graphics memory of better result or smoother work.

And all other features are generally common in compare to all available notebooks like DVD RW, camera, network card, card reader, interfaces and battery.

Bundled excellent feature with 14.1" series of laptop its provide excellent speed and accessibly and graphics results.
