First of all, this phone is yet another great phone released by samsung. It has many good features like VGA camera, automatic flip, 65K colour screen, and the usual features that you'd expect on a good phone. Unfortunately, the phone does not have bluetooth, and the IRDA that is on the phone can only comunicate with computers not other phones. The picture quality produced from the phone is excelent and the camera frame rate is also very good.

Next, the battery life. The standard battery is very good, lasting about 3 days with normal use and up to 5 days standby. The phone also comes with another battery that is slightly bigger to last the extra days you need when a charger is not available. The 64 polyphonic ringtones produce good sound quality for midi files, but unfortunatly cannot play those valuable mp3 files we all want.

The automatic flip some say is useless and will never be used. Wrong. The automatic flip is one of the best and useful functions availabe on the phone. It comes in handy when one hand is occupied. For example, you could be holding a bag of shopping in one hand while holding your phone in the other. It rings. Instead of using some kung fu moves to open it, simply press the button and talk.

Another good feature this phone has is the easy to use and helpful directional pads. On them are short cuts to the camera, ringtones, games and sms inbox to save time going throught menus. Unfortunately the phone does not have different modes to change the situation your in like the nokia phones, like when your at work or at home. The nokia phones allow you to change the ringtone settings, keypad sounds ring loudness and more, where as the P510 can only go from normal to silent mode.

The flashlight on the phone helps to produce better pictures at night, and also seeing things in the dark. Yes the picture comes out better with it on at night, but is still bad compared to the normal day time pictures.

If you like small, sleek, sexy, slim flip phones with many features, this is definitly the one to get. It's not packed full of fun like PDA phones, but for its size and price is a must.
