samsung do it again. they are most defanatly at the top of there game and nice to see that they have stuck with the superior plasma format for this set , the set is in there now regular piano black and looks extreamly sleek and far more expensive than it actually is. as with all samsung plasmas it does have a host of features but like its smaller 42" brother many of them seam better actually turned off for normal standard defanition watching. but do come ito there own on high quality blu-ray hd-dvd ,playstation ect , the addition of 4 hdmi sockets make this set even better value , you really do not realise how quick the sockets get taken up . i would advise anyone looking into flat panel tvs to consider the amount of hdmi ports as must have feature , and personally would prefer 4 hdmi ports to 1280p when looking at specs . luckly this set has both. . sound is fine and as good as most sets in competition but will not blow you away , most of these sets really do benifit from the addition of a dedicated sound system for those audiophiles amoung us, but will be ample for most. high defanition is as to be expected stunning and there is not much diferance to be seen in all the top sets on hd . where this set really shows off though is on normal defanition ,this is quite an important consideration since in reality most of your viewing will still be in normal defanition for some time to come. this was a upgrade for my 42" samsung and has proved to be just as good. i would highly recomend this set to anyone who is looking for a top notch screen
