My son and I paid half each to buy this as a Christmas present for him and it has been amazing from the minute it was installed. Not being very technically-minded, all I was expecting was just a larger screen but the sharpness and clarity of the picture puts it in a different league to anything else. We have it in an average sized "double" bedroom and although our viewing chairs are within eight feet of the screen this doesn't diminish the impact at all. Everyone who has seen it is so impressed. Although it was in my opinion a luxury item (at a luxury price!) it is certainly worth every penny. We also have installed a surround sound system which enhances the quality even further. I personally liked the appearance in that there is only a small "margin" or "frame" around the actual screen. All in all, a definite winner.
