...At the time of writing, the Samsung VM8080CT is a brand new product, just starting to be supplied to retailers. If you search for it online you are unlikely to find many results. If you are interested in the product, I recommend you contact Microsmiths on 01908 546500 – they have the best price I have seen for it, currently selling it at £749+VAT. I have had the pleasure of being able to test this machine, and have to say that it is incredible for the price. It is a well built laptop, with a Celeron 800MHz processor, 128MB RAM, a 10Gb hard drive, 12.1” TFT display, CD-ROM drive, 56k modem, 10/100 LAN network card. It comes with Windows ME preinstalled as its operating system. Microsmiths also supply it with a 1-year European collect and return warranty.
